Okay, so I’m getting Nucleus 7’s quite literally, next month, and I can hardly wait!!!!
This is the first time I get to choose the color, and I’m getting them in white - Finally, I’ll be able to have implants that actually stand out from my hair, not just get lost in there! Plus white looks cool and futuristic!
And there’s gonna be longer battery life too, so no more running out of charge at 10 PM!
And! I’m gonna be able to listen to music streamed directly to my processors, without anything at all in between - that’s gonna be so so cool! (Speaking of which, that only works for iPhones, right? Or is it like, a telecoil thing?
The only thing I’m really worried about is that the sound of the beeps grated on me when I tried them on at the Cochlear Convention, but hopefully that was just because it was a demo model? (That and the worry that I’ll get the 7s and the 8s will come out the next month XD)
Oh! Also, just wondering, does anyone have any advice about going to the 7s from the 6s or any thoughts on the differences/similarities? I’m curious!
