The United States is infiltrated by the Islamic Republic of Iran, and here is how.
A new report from NUFDI, the National Union for Democracy in Iran, details this long-term strategy by the regime not through traditional espionage, but through institutions, religious centers, schools, non-profits, and community organizations that operate legally, consistently, and over generations.
At the center of this network is the Alavi Foundation, a New York-based non-profit that owns a 36-story building on 5th Avenue, a revenue-generating asset that's funded dozens of affiliated organizations across the country. It's part of a broader network as well of mosques, schools, youth programs in states like Virginia, Michigan, and Texas.
Let's take a look at Michigan. In Dearborn, roughly 40% of the population is Muslim, and actually mostly Shia. And you don't have just one institution; you have a dense ecosystem of mosques, schools, youth programs, and media initiatives that reinforce one another and really, honestly, normalize anti-Semitic, anti-American, and pro-terror narratives as part of daily life. For example, in 2020, following the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, a commander responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American service members, the Islamic Center of America in Michigan hosted a vigil praising him.
Who was this general? His presence brought hope to the marginalized and those who were afraid and brought hatred and fear to the enemies of Islam, particularly United States.
That's an American institution publicly glorifying a man responsible for killing American soldiers.
The IRGC and its tentacles are, quite frankly, masters at making marginalized groups feel like they have shared goals, when in fact, they often have opposite goals, such as the LGBTQ movement, which suddenly promotes Palestine, without understanding the only thing that Palestinians hate more than Jews, statistically speaking, according to Pew, is gays.
Now, of course, we also saw it and see it today when student groups organized pro-regime protests that portray the Islamic Republic and its terror proxies as "resistance."
Take another soldier out. Take another soldier out. Iran, Iran you make us proud. Iran, Iran you make us proud.
It's time to wake up and fight back against this abuse of our values as Americans or as any person who believes in freedom, equality, and liberal values. It's clear that we are under assault.
