Work has been overwhelming the last couple of months and I somehow got lost with keeping up with tending to all my social media accounts. My apologies! I'm currently trying to work out a solution by fitting in a Social Media Care Day into my weekly schedule. Thus, for quite some time I'll be posting "older" works that I haven't gotten around posting here yet.

Starting off with my Summer Illustration, which I finished just in time for the Dokomi back in August. This piece has been on my art bucket list for quite some time now, and I am glad that I got the chance to work on it at last. Ever since I've been to Australia a few years ago, I wanted to draw an illustration with clear water, sea creatures and corals, and I opted for my character Abby as I feel she'd certainly be one to enjoy surfing in the summer. I hope you like this illustration, as for myself it is one of my personal favourites of mine.

An ACEO of Hilda Goneril from Fire Emblem: Three Houses on request of one of my patreons.

I had so much fun working on this ACEO, although it took my quite a few attempts to not make her hair way too dark and saturated. Turns out light pink hair is giving me problems with markers XD

This is the other ACEO that finished recently to have it available at the MEX-Berlin this upcoming weekend, and it might be my personal favourite yet ♥️

For once, I actually did two versions of the same ACEO as after finishing the one with the purple dress, I've been wondering what Gaia and the ACEO might look like in an all white dress. I think I do like the white dress version slightly better than the other. But I'm curious: which one is your favourite though? ゝ◡╹)ノ♡

This is my contribution to the "Witch, please!" Ink Zine Vol. 2 (Ink Zine Witch, please), which is about to be released very soon ✨

I've finished the illustration itself back in June, but since it is part of a zine, we were supposed to keep it a surprise till the physical preorder period had wrapped up.

I'm extremely honored that I was allowed to contribute to this zine, as it features some stellar artists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and I absolutely love the theme and aesthetics. This was also the first illustration that I have illustrated using liquid ink exclusively.

Last year in Summer, Palutena won a poll on my Patreon and thus I started working on a FanArt featuring her (which made me very happy, as Palutena happens to be one of my favourite fictional characters). Unfortunately due to my master thesis project taking up a lot of time, I had to postpone working on this illustration for a long time, while during fall and winter other projects kept me busy. I am terribly sorry for taking this long with this piece in specific, however, I believe that putting a little more effort into it really paid off in the end. I feel that my shading has immensely improved in the past few months, as initially I was going for a simple cell shading for this piece. Around New Year I have actually started working on a new sketch for a Palutena fanart, as I was no longer satisfied with how a few things about the anatomy looked like in this piece (especially the hands). However, as I already had finished the lineart and started coloring this piece, I somehow just couldn't simply stash it away in my unfinished pieces folder. Still, if I get the chance to, I'd like to flesh out that one new sketch of Palutena I've made. Maybe it'll lead to another fanart illustration featuring her~

It's been so much fun to work on this illustration and play around with the lighting. In fact, I've been itching to draw a tea time related illustration for quite some time now, but I never got the chance to squeeze it into my To-Do-List. I'm glad that I've finally managed to do so. By the way, I've finished this illustration a while back but have been contemplating about the tag line XD I think I'll settle on this one, after all comfy tea time is best tea time (ゝ◡╹)ノ♡ 🍵
