Week 5 of this no twist challenge rockin a braid out. I'm also seeing sprouts of loose hair but it's okay. I think I'm going to allow them to free form & Saturday will be my 1 year locaversary! 😍 #nugrowthchallenge #locs #crownoflocs #semifreeform #locjourney

Tomorrow will wrap up week 2 of this no twist challenge! The crown was in need of a good wash with my African Black Soap. Tried something new with my flaxseed gel - used it as deep conditioner & left it in to set my chunky braids. Sealed with my herb infused oil after I took my plastic cap off. Got a little wave the braids. Wash day ✅ and to my surprise there is no crunchy feel from the flaxseed gel. Hmmm gotta try this again. #nugrowthchallenge #lovingmylocs #locjourney
