First set of my fic's art.
While the rest are still in the oven, I want to try testing some coding with these. The AO3 html limitations are challenging and I want to experiment before I edit the already-released chapter.

genshin but paimon and the twins role swapped [pt. 1/?]
based on cebwitch’s own role swap au, but i’ll draw the design i have in mind for the trio once i get the time
the mc is Paimon, who still has some of her iconic features (except she has a short female model now) and abilities (popping in and out of existence)
the traveler twins are her companions along her journey – they still gain the ability to use the elements
basically: they’re pretty much like freely gifted ELFs now
meta-wise: if you want higher atk dmg and speed, Lumine got Paimon’s back ; and Aether for better movement speed (minus swimming)
okay, me thinks Paimon should have a debuff while swimming lmao
also, i say screw it and make Paimon a phys dmg dealer despite being a catalyst user
the weapons you get from your rolls are pretty much Paimon’s ammo for her attacks
those are the basics
now, onto the skeleton of a plot that im manufacturing~
it starts similarly to how the game did
the twins had recent woken from their slumber
they were reduced into beings that are almost helpless
thankfully they retained some of their flying capabilities to float around
(imagine the twins from magical girl project raising / minael and yunael)
one of the sibs were fishing when they encountered Paimon floating in the water
when Paimon came to be, she witnesses two child-like beings speaking in a language she had never encountered before
and as an avid fan of Teyvat Travel Guide she picked up from ruins and abandoned camps, she decided then and there that she’s going to become the best travel guide her saviors will ever meet!
over time, the three learned smth that they have in common: Paimon and the twins have amnesia
but, again, Paimon knows more about Teyvat than the fae-like starlings so this further proved that they need to stick together with the weirdo they fished out of a lake
that and the twin noticed how much of a disaster Paimon is when left alone
the first words they learned are apparently food names and ingredients they foraged
so they wandered about, skirting the edges of civilization until the twins finally have a decent grasp on the common language
Paimon suggested they head out to Mondstadt since it’s the closest one to where they are
upon encountering a statue of the seven, the twins resonate with the imbedded Anemo energy within it, much to the surprise of the trio
Paimon now has her elemental backing!
but Paimon herself gets no benefits from that
she has her mysterious abilities that matches none of the elements known to Teyvat for reasons unknown
it will repeatedly be pointed out later so anyways
Dvalin and Venti encounter
the traveler twins still gets an ignition of Anemo energy that startled Dvalin
Paimon quickly grabs the two when the suspect beings looked towards them and teleported a few feet away from the scene
what temporary teleport waypoints? all you need is Paimon!

Summary:
Paimon isn’t really Paimon nor is Fou really Fou. The same goes with Grimm, who is their only source of knowledge because they sure hell don’t know anything about this world. It doesn’t help that Grimm said he already mucked up the plot thanks to Yuu going adios without official leave.
Grimm thinks it’s safe to say that none of them expected this outcome. He also thinks they are royally and utterly screwed.
