Calem. The male protagonist of X and Y in Game Freak’s Pokemon series. He is a svelte, battle-ready 17-year-old when he is first showed, in a world where laws are almost non-existent and death common as much as Game Freak making questionable to horrible decisions. Before you scroll away, why don’t you hear me out, hell you don’t even know the purpose of this post. You can’t just leave because if you are invested in something you will actively choose to seek out its purpose for no other reason besides a personal goal. Which is to figure out what the hell I am doing. Yes. The real purpose of this is to answer one question.
Is Calem a Twink?
Now, you may be asking yourself one of these questions. What the hell? Where is this going? Why does this seem so high quality? Where is the money I owe you for the bet we did so long ago at our old spot in Michigan? How are the kids? You shouldn’t have won the trial and you know it.
The last one is a statement but we can’t all be winners, you know? So back to Calem.

Calem, as stated as such he is a 17-year-old, given full reins of a pokemon team that could absolutely cause enough destruction that people would consider as war crimes as their team of non IV trained pokemon lay amongst the rubble. Charming isn’t he? With his slightly downturned hat and his blue jacket. What a weird guy. An absolute loser. What? He’s a police officer? What a stupid guy. Absolute peak dumb.
But, when he isn’t? What an absolute Twink.
Look at all the evidence! The boyish charms! The fashion statements he makes! He’s described as svelte! That means slender and elegant! Even his relationship with his rival makes sense!
Kalos is based on France! Kalos has several boutiques that the character can go into! His long hair! His charming point is his boyish looks!
He shows no emotions towards Serena besides thinking of her as a rival!
Calem IS a twink!
Wait what... I care about my fashion. I have boyish looks. My relationship with my rival matches up.
