Just roughly about FOREVER AGO, TheWhovianHalfling tagged me in an OC interview questionnaire she filled out. I, uh... apparently take those things VERY seriously. Anyway, I drummed up this, but clearly, at the pace this was unfolding, getting past question 4 was not going to happen in any timely manner. Please accept this in lieu of the whole thing, and also as an Oasis Appendix. :]

Now that it's finally light outside around the time I wake up... I was inspired to draw this. By the way, guys... I really like this two-tone shading thing I have discovered a few days ago. Good stuff.

Haha, that took a while, didn’t it? Well, every time I said I haven’t abandoned, they weren’t just empty threats.

Seriously though, I currently only have a fraction of the time I had in the spring and last winter (Jesus was it really so long ago I started??) to work on this. And since I want DO to remain a labour of love it will be trickling out much slower these days. Please be patient and or find a a better comic with a more regular update schedule XD

Oasis Appendices 6 by ancalinar "My Shangri La beneath the summer moon, I will return again..." Listening to Kashmir always gets me thinking about deserts and sand (duh)... but that always shifts to thinking about Desert Oasis, and Nulmiril and Kadír. The line above seems like something she'd say to him when he's unhappy about her taking off and doesn't want her to go away because separation anxiety I guess? Anyway, seems I'm on a black and white kick, apparently! I'm trying to keep my stuff rough, and this was a really nice excuse to illustrate the difference between their skin tones.

Futile Hunt by ancalinar Another sketch that has gone too far. Nulmiril up north, since it decided to blizzard here today. Not real sure what she'd be doing there, but I have an inkling she's hunting someone down across the frozen wastes of Helcaraxë. Feel free to help me figure out what's going on. :b
