Having a fish/human hybrid guy who is ridiculously sexual and overly curious about human culture and why humans feel certain things like love is the most fun thing to write for because HE'S THIS VIOLENTLY SEXUAL CHARACTER but then he's this super adorable guy who's like, "What makes a human love, why do humans love? What is love? Can you explain love to me?" LIKE LITERALLY his species can't feel certain emotions. They mate, eat, and reproduce. That's it.
But he wants to feel love. He wants to FEEL happiness and joy and learn, desperately so, and his kind basically alienate him for it because they evolved to get rid of those emotions and he really really wants them.
