HI AGAIN

last night i had the most intense brain rot for the concept of a tobey becky roleswap au and just had to design a villan becky LOL if u wanna hear more about my take on it just look in the comments LOL

whyd you choose to call your au wordgirl numberboy? also for your older tobey design you coud give him a more subdued colored tie, like brown or something. its fun but less dorky than bright red. also a checkered/plaid blue and gray and orange sweater vest could look good, but it would suck to have to draw constantly

Thanks for the ask! :D I tag my au as NumberBoy mainly because I dont really have a proper name for my au LOL- I’m definitely not the first person to have a roleswap au for tobecky and calling it moomiimo’s roleswap au is a bit much so it’s just easier to identify it with NumberBoy cause thats what I call my villain Becky :] ALSOO I drew u a Tobey with a brown tie (I like ur solution :D!!) but I totally blanked on the rest of the fit sorry!! 😭

I just want to say again I love your numberboy au. I think the villain name for Becky is really innovative. I have so many questions for this au. 1. Does Becky know she is an alien in this au? 2. Does Bob realize that Becky was the baby girl he got separated from? 3. Does anyone have an idea that numberboy used to be wordgirl?

Ahhh im so happy u like my au and the villan name for becky!! :DD Now for ur ur questions, 1., Yes Becky knows that she’s an alien (or at least that shes not human) BUT she doesnt know what planet she’s from due to not having bob around to educate her about her culture. 2., Bob at first doesn’t immediately realize that Becky is the baby from the ship but he would always feel some sort of deja vu when he sees her (same for becky), slowly he begins finding clues through observing her behavior that ultimately confirms his suspicions!! 3, THAT IS ACTUALLY A RLLY GREAT QUESTION LOL- if im being honest i hadn’t rlly thought about it, I think it makes the most sense that most people wouldn’t know cause faircity citizens dont think too hard about most things ((ALSO i rlly like the idea of there being a like a side plot of someone(probably tobey with the help of rose?) peicing together the clues of her being wordgirl in the past!!))

I'm confused, Becky still defines words but she's called Number Boy?

Ahh sorry for the confusion!! Basically this Becky really likes to troll with people using words incorrectly and because the people of fair city are very oblivious they’ll believe her most of the time causing shenanigans to ensue LOL-

Wait, I'm still confused. Why does Becky call herself Number Boy in this AU? Her powers are still the same as canon with her still having a love of words, she's just arrogant about it. So why is her villainous name "Number Boy"if there's nothing Number related to her at all?

Her villain name is called NumberBoy because her villainy shtick is antonyms (like how lady redundant woman’s thing is copies and the butcher’s thing is butchering words), so because her hero name was WordGirl i made her villain name the opposite! Like the opposite of word would be number (( it’s not like super universally agreed that number is the antonym for word but I believe its as close! )) and the antonym for girl is boy so her new title became NumberBoy! 

Also for the powers thing, Becky still has a major love for words and defining but because she abandons her role as WordGirl for villainy in the au it doesn’t make sense for her to still be directly helping people with their vocabulary, the issue is that Becky can’t just NOT define words so she does it a through a frustrating tricky way where if someone asks the definition of a word she’ll tell them the definition of the ANTONYM of that word. If they use the power of context clues they can figure out that the real definition is the opposite of what she says, that way she still somewhat gets the satisfaction of defining words while not being helpful at all LOL.
