Hate - Numinosum
Hate - Numinosum
...an apt name given to all overpowering emotions in my own psychic system, subduing my conscious will and usurping control over myself. This is the name by which I designate all things which cross my willful path violently and recklessly, all things which upset my subjective views, plans and intentions and change the course of my life for better or worse.

“Overpowering,” “usurping,” “willful,” upsetting, incomprehensible, passing all understanding -- these are some ways we might experience the numinous.
Adjectives and phrases like these bespeak the unique quality of the numinosum: An encounter with it cannot really be put into words or adequately described unless you have had such an encounter yourself. This is because it is a state-specific experience.
