Here's some early sketches during the project. I made a hand cut vinyl drawing taken directly from the original sketch, (top)this was enlarged and machine cut from vinyl.

I discovered through my research that there was much love for the distinctive Midland Red bus.
Between 1880s and 1920 the site for the current bus station was bought by the proprietor of the Newdigate Arms, T.J Lilley. He put a running track, a football and Rugby pitch on it. These images are inspired by that history. During this time the first boy to be capped to play Rugby for England against Wales, was Francis Mingar from Nuneaton.
After removing the silver circles and cleaning the panels (big thank you to SJ Window Cleaners. Fantastic job! ) The brilliant Sticky Media begin the unveiling of my newest public artwork. 'It All Happened Here'. I've created a collection of large scale vinyl drawings for the Bus Station in Nuneaton. The images and text reference the people, the animals and the vehicles which have crossed bus stations location.
