“How’d you enjoy our date, pretty lady?” Kevin asked, putting his arm around Gia’s shoulder.
They had just finished having a romantic dinner at a high-end steakhouse. Now it was time for Kevin to finally ask her to be his girlfriend.
She began blushing. “What wasn’t there to enjoy? I love not having to pull out my wallet,” she said as she playfully rubbed his leg. “Did you have fun?”
“Of course, mamas. I always have fun with you,” he said, playing with her hand. “I got another surprise for you, though.”
Excitement filled Gia as soon as she heard the word “surprise.” She loved being spoiled by him.
She playfully gasped. “For me?”
Kevin nodded. “Yes, ma’am.” He grabbed her hand, helping her out of her seat.
As soon as they stepped outside, they were stopped in their tracks by a black truck.
Nervousness began flowing through Gia’s body as she was confused by what was happening.
Kevin then opened the back door to the truck, revealing a bouquet of pink roses, a gift basket, and a letter board that read, “Will you be my girlfriend?”
Kevin then reached into his pocket, pulling out a white box and revealing a Darry Ring. He reached for Gia’s hand and stared into her eyes with confidence.
“Gia, will you please be my beautiful girlfriend?”
Tears instantly filled Gia’s eyes, as she’d never received a girlfriend proposal before.
“Yes, Kevin, I will,” she said, nodding as she began to cry.
Kevin smiled as he slid the promise ring onto her finger and pulled her into a hug.
Gia embraced the hug while staring down at the ring, full of awe. She couldn’t believe that she not only got a girlfriend proposal but also a promise ring at the same time.
She then pulled Kevin into a kiss that would be their very first.
“Thank you for making me your boyfriend, mamas,” Kevin said, holding her tightly as he looked down at her, full of love.
