Ren flushed brightly when the student asked him how he’d gotten the trunk this far in the first place. He looked down, shoulders drooping. He was a man but he certainly wasn’t built like one. He was very frail and physically weak, especially during the daytime. “The driver brought it in when I was dropped off,” he mumbled weakly, eyes going wide when the boy who had luckily stumbled upon his struggle lifted the trunk onto his shoulder as if it was nothing.
"Ooh-wah!" Ren exclaimed, big dark eyes going wide as he looked up in complete awe of the other’s overwhelming physical strength. His cheeks immediately flushed brightly when the boy turned to look at him and asked where he needed to go. "I’m sorry," Ren apologized and broke eye contact, which seemed to be his initial reaction to most comments.
"Please take it to the infirmary," Ren instructed and since it was his first time setting foot in the building he was hoping the boy new where that was since he certainly didn’t. The trunk contained everything he owned but most of its contents were books and vials of potent healing elixirs and medicines. His clothing he would take to his dorm later, but he was wondering if he shouldn’t just leave everything at the infirmary. He was sure he’d be there most of the time.
"There’s many bottles inside…fragile things," Ren explained timidly as he followed behind, feeling like he needed to explain why the enormous trunk was clanking with each step but he also wanted to make sure the student didn’t just drop the thing when they reached their destination.
"I’m Ren…I’m the new head nurse," he introduced as he shyly took a bigger step so he could walk beside the student helping him instead of behind.
With narrowed eyes he overlooked the male's body seeing he was indeed small and slim, feminine built. It suited the dude oddly enough with the face he had. It was doll like and breath-taking behold in all honesty, each pore seeming to shine with internal light. What manner of being was this guy? Momentarily that crossed his mind but was overtaken by annoyance at the next words that were spoken towards him.
"What? And you let him leave without carrying it all the way in?" What sense did it make to bring the luggage to the door and leaving it there? The laziness of today's common worker was both saddening and pathetic- to say the least. The trunk lifted he almost dropped it being slightly startled by the exclamation of amazement he received. What kind of reaction was that from a man?
"Uh...where should I be taking this?"
Oblivious to anything other than the heavy load on his shoulders he awaited the answer to his question. The reply was so soft he almost asked for a repeat on it then he got the gist of what was said. "Infirmary. Got it." He headed for the Infirmary with the new nurse behind him wondering exactly what sort of things he was carrying. "Bottles. Ah, ok."
He assumed they were glass bottles and would set them down gently when they got to their destination. "I'm JR, senior student here. I'm a were hyena, glad we got a new nurse, the last one denied my sleeping rights in the Infirmary." The were had always slept in the infirmary only to be denied by the pesky Nekoninin who was now no more. Utter bullshit since the beds got cold without him in them.
"Since I am carrying this heavy load of shit around for you the least you can do in return is let me sleep yeah?"
