I’ve been watching too many superhero movies and now I’m picturing Team Radical as a superhero team.
Location/Timeline: its set in a modern day world where the seven kingdoms are city’s.
Varian: Varian doesn’t stray away from his show counterpart, he still tries to make his father proud in which he ultimately winds up going down a dark path but still gets redeemed. In this AU Varian is going to university and he’s a Chemistry major, he becomes a superhero because a visit from an old friend.
Hugo: Hugo is still taken under Donella’s wing which leads him to getting wrapped up in her work, he’s homeschooled at first before getting sent off to university. He’s an engineering major. I’m still working out the details on how he became a hero.
Nuru: Her parents are well known astronomers im the city, Im keeping the whole meteor heading toward the city thing cause I think it would fit into the au, however the meteor isn’t yearly. Im thinking Nuru in her superhero persona could stop the meteor, her parents know she’s a hero and they’re proud of her. Nuru studies all things Astronomy and astrology related
Yong: An accident prone kid just trying to prove that he can be brave, he meets Varian in the and finds out that he’s a hero, he tries to join in on the superhero stuff but Varian tells him it’s far too dangeous for a 12-13 year old. So yong saves Varian from a couple of villains proving he’s not just some accident prone kid, Varian apologizes and he lets yong join.
Villains: The Saporians are back and Andrew has been planning his revenge on Varian for a while now and he’s finally found the opportunity to strike. This prompted Varian to become a superhero to protect himself and even the city, this later turns into a whole arc where Varian meets the rest of the team and they face off the Saporians until the final epic battle against them
other stuff: Arc two is a more Donella focused arc so yeah a lot of Hugo focus..
