Group Pitch Part 1
The target audience for this pitch is both parents of small children, and the children themselves. The goal of the project is to protect wearers of the helmets from harm, while also being appealing to a younger audience. The target audience is concerned about safety, but conscientious enough to want attractive protective gear.
If a child is viewing one of our commercials or ads, we want him to be initially attracted to colors and sounds to draw him in. He probably has a short attention span, so things must happen rapidly and with purpose. We have to assume that this child will want fun, interesting things and our helmets are unique enough to gain his interest.
On the other hand, a parent viewing one of our ads will be much more concerned with safety than how the helmet looks. This means that the safety benefits of our helmets, above all other options, must be displayed and impressive enough to convince the parents that our helmets are the best option for purchase.
Finding a mix between legitimate safety features and young, energetic, fast-paced appeal will reach our target audience in a way that will allow parents to want the protection of our product, and children will want the style and aesthetic attached to our product.
