nvvt replied to your post:Just finished watching Palo Alto, it’s so so...
I’m literally about to watch it!! I’m so excited :)
ahhh yes it's literally so so beautiful!! I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and already want to re watch it, the cinematography is so dreamy,<3<3 hope you like it :)
shinji's blog feels like a warm hug every time i visit it. i feel soft bed linen rubbing against peach fuzz and honey sun shining through a window in nepal. i feel safe and all of a sudden once again aware of how very human i am; how human we all are. and she puts exclamation marks! after! so! many! things! and i just get very content with existence. but in a way that challenges me to be content also with fluidity and moving past your skin to inhabit the world. (also on this list of blogs/people that make me feel this way: Qian rictus ; Gemma gentle-insomnia ; Nat nvvt ; Mikee mooncot and many others)

1. Which is your favourite artistic movement? Why?
I haven't studied art too much but I would say the Renaissance. I spent some time in Italy over Christmas and fell in love with Botticelli's work. And of course Michaelangelo! David is absolutely incredible!
2. Do you want to live in other country? Why?
Of course! I would love to live in the UK (Glasgow!!) or the Pacific Northwestern US at some stage. Maybe Germany too? I think being overseas gives you a wonderfully broad view of the world.
3. If you had to give an advice to someone based on the most important thing that you had learnt, which one would it be?
I would say just be yourself, as cliche as it is. I spent far too long dumbing myself down and trying to be someone I wasn't to impress people that I ultimately didn't want to know at all. Being accepted and loved for who you are is a wonderful feeling.
4. If you had to summarize last year in one word, which one would it be?
Growth.
5. What is the first thing that you notice in someone?
Confidence. It's not an important thing to me but it's just what I tend to notice.
6. What do you think about marriage?
It's not the piece of paper that matters to me, it's the commitment.
7. What you are passionate about?
Equality, powerful women, good pasta.
8. Who are the people who inspire you the most? Why?
My friends, family and teachers. I tend not to look up to people I don't know simply because of that reason- I don't know them. The people in my life are incredible and inspire me everyday and I love them for it.
9. Which was the last book that made you dream?
The Hobbit has been influencing my dreams of late.
10. Are you happy with the person that you are?
Yes. I wouldn't change a thing.
11. What do you want for your future?
A job that makes me happy, a cozy apartment in an old city, and (in the near future) some macaroni and cheese.
