These photos pretty much sum up my weekend at the Nike Women DC Half Marathon! Can't wait to do it again next year! Hopefully faster too

Another weekend, another race! Ran my 2nd half, the Nike Women's Half Marathon, in DC yesterday. Though I had been battling a cold, I woke up Sunday feeling pretty good. I still took Zyrtec, Cold & Sinus, and some Vitamin C just to be safe. Weather was gorgeous and the course was great so overall it was a fun race. We ran from Judiciary Square under the mall down & across Arlington Memorial Bridge. Then back along the water to the Kennedy Center, around Haines point, back under the mall, around the Capitol and across the Finish Line! My only complaints were that it was very crowded and there seemed to be a lack of runner's etiquette from a few people. I also wished they had made us do the loop by the Capitol first because that last stretch down Pennsylvania Avenue was brutal and since I was going for a pr I barely cared about taking in the view (my fault?). Still loved running it and gotta say that Nike puts on a very feel good fun event. Would love to do it again!
