“I Will” Declarations of a Leader
Pastor Josh McCann @JoshMcCann brought 🔥 when he opened up our first NWSS Leadership Summit with his word of encouragement. Here are the 7 Declarations that a Leader in the Church must be able to do in order to be successful in ministry:
I will preach the Word It’s only the Word that changes people’s hearts
I will prepare now for future growth We cannot plan a revival but can prepare for one
I will obey His Word There are going to be moments in ministry where you are required to step out of your comfort zone
I will stand on principles How you win people is how you keep people. No frills or gimmicks but prioritizing principles first
I will build a leadership team Align and surround yourself with like-minded people
I will bow my knee in every season Give all credit of success to Christ
I will walk in unity Safeguard unity within the Church, knowing that it’s God’s Church and He’s gracious enough to let us be a part of it
