Trial and Error | Alec & Jin Goo
It was oddly therapeutic. Target practice always was. Jin Goo held a handgun, shooting at 300 meters. He ought to practice a little more with the sniper gun; most of his long-range shooting was done by handgun. That could wait, he figured.
Out of bullets. He reloaded, and emptied the clip again. Pressing a button, the range brought him his paper target. Holes through the head and chest, mostly in the same place, but Jin Goo could see various places that were slightly off. He frowned, holding himself to a higher standard.
The machine put in another paper target, and Jin Goo reloaded, the motions so familiar, he didn’t need to think about it. Eyes fixed on the target, he pulled the trigger. Once, twice. Someone walked into the shooting range, but he was too preoccupied for a greeting, too busy emptying out the clip again.
