[SMS: Otouto]: My door is always open, Yuu-kun. You don’t even have to ask.
[SMS: Otouto]: I can pick you up too, if that’ll help or make you feel any better.
[SMS: Otouto]: If it’s your parents or someone trying to bring you back to them, I’ll rip them a new one. I swear it.
[SMS: Otouto]: But we can talk about that later. Let’s just get you here safely, first.

“That’s... a bit surprising, coming from you.” Then again, maybe it’s not. Maybe it makes perfect sense. He had always complained about his parents, but killing them is new. To Kaira, anyway. Nevertheless, a hand drifts down to settle over the blade strapped to their thigh-- a subconscious action, but one that speaks volumes.
“If that really is what you want, I have no qualms about it. You need only say the word.”

“Aren’t... aren’t families supposed to be touchy-feely?” Truth be told, Kaira isn’t quite certain of the answer. They have little to no memory of their real family, and growing up in the orphanage, they were only ever belittled and abused by what was SUPPOSED to be their ‘family’. Even in this new family that they have found in both the League and the Casino, where Kai can be freely expressive, they aren’t quite sure how it should really be. From the stories they’d read as a child, it does SEEM like a family should be ‘touchy-feely’, as Yuuta called it. But maybe they’re wrong-- maybe it depended on this ‘type’ that he mentioned, but what on earth could that mean? What ‘types’ of families are there?
Oh, but maybe that’s something that they can worry about later. Best not get distracted from the main point.
Slowly, awkwardly, Kaira places a hand over his, fitting them together by entwining their fingers. It’s a calculated move, but not without risk, simply because they have no idea where his boundaries may lie. But it’s worth a shot, isn’t it?
“...Is this okay? It’s not too... touchy-feely, is it?”

The woman had a habit of helping anyone that she could, people who reminded her of herself and who she could have become if she wasn’t so focused on her one goal in life. It’d back-fired on her quite a few times, people who tried to hurt her or take her money. Though, here she was, doing exactly what she shouldn’t be doing anymore.
The other’s reaction was the normal one, the one that most people had upon seeing the female but like always, their hunger would drive their actions more than anything else and she knew that. Itou let the other take the food from her, a small smile moving upwards onto her lips. “It’s no problem.” Itou had just finished her patrol and was on her way home in her civilian clothes, her babysitter was still watching Emiko.
“My name is Itou Emiyo, I try to help people around here when they don’t have anyone.”
