arcs and dives || haruka & taiga
There was another passion that Taiga had aside from basketball, and that was surfing. Back in America, when the summer sun would be excruciatingly hot-- being indulged in the water and feeling the waves was definitely the best feeling.
But there no room for such luxury-- for Taiga had no idea where the beach was and instead found herself at the local pool. Well, you obviously couldn't surf here, but it would never hurt to get some training done, right? And just like that, Taiga found herself doing lengths, alternating in styles each time.
There weren't that many people around the pool-- which both surprised her, but also relieved, it wasn't crowded and let a lot of space to practice. But, as if on cue-- from her peripheral vision she could see someone launch off the side of the pool-- oh my gosh, that was.. so graceful!
Taiga was no swimming enthusiast or analyst or something of the sort-- but holy crap did this person have a form! She quickly broke into a swim towards the other; "...! H-Hey, guy that just came here!" And then Taiga was struck with an awkward silence-- not really knowing what else to say, way to go-- especially now since you already called him out...
