a matter of shadow and contrast
She needed a hobby.
After the milkshake machine blew up on her at work, Riley knew she needed something, anything else. A hobby to make the hours necessary to support herself worth it.
Which led her to answering a Craigslist ad by a young man asking for models. Skeezy, yes, but she'd met him at a public place, a friend along for company, and it turned out he was legit and nice enough. She'd Googled him later and wondered to herself why the fuck he was going through Craigslist for models - and why he'd expressed interest in taking pictures of her.
Whatever. It was something different, and he didn't seem like a bad guy.
Riley dressed in a nice pair of jeans, plain t-shirt, and a hoodie, as Pavel hadn't mentioned any clothing in particular. Her stomach was swimming with nerves, but life was supposed to be an adventure and full of new experiences.
She knocked on the door of the address he'd given her to his studio and waited, awkward.
