Oh, yeah, this also happened the other night.
I went to a concert featuring Sons of an Illustrious Father as an early Winter Holiday gift to myself (if you want the full photographic story, check out my Instagram) and I got a photo with Ezra Miller.
He’s seriously one of the nicest and chillest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and I count myself lucky for that.
(but I feel I kinda feel bad for bothering him for a photo but at the same time I’m super grateful ;v; )
guess who impulse bought a ticket to the Sons of an Illustrious Father, Yatta!, and Irrevery concert in Brooklyn for tomorrow night, even though she has a flight from Laguardia Airport the next morning?
(hint: it was me. I did it. I did the thing. I regret nothing.)
@ the dogs downstairs that keep on yapping : it’s been an hour. i think you can stop now.
@ whichever roommate who keeps on stealing my shampoo : why though?? you remember to buy beer, but not shampoo??? this makes no sense
@ whichever roommate who insists on opening the kitchen window when it’s 35 degrees F outside: can you not??? i’d rather not get hypothermia pls
Last night, I was able to fulfill a goal of mine I'd had since moving to New York. On Thursday, October 20th, 2016, I saw my favorite band, Sons of an Illustrious Father, perform live. Their talent is truly astounding and being in the same room to witness it was absolutely breathtaking.
I had the opportunity to speak with members Lilah Larson, Josh Aubin, and Ezra Miller, and they were truly as wonderful and kind as I imagined them to be. I never thought that I'd be able to tell them how much their music means to me, let alone be in the same room as them. And I never thought in a million years that if I ever met them that they would hug me (which my mind is still trying to register haha).
In short, I have found a part of my bliss and I'm holding onto it as hard as I possibly can.
