This two part EP from Headless Ghost, as he continues to release on Tamed Musiq, is made up of 2 remixes of original Headless Ghost tracks 'The Journey' and 'Never-ending story' originally released on STHLM audio back in 2009. The first remix comes courtesy of Gerd under his NY Stomp Alias. The track is a club ready homage to Ripperton’s The Journey. It is an infectious shaking up of the original that bubbles with energy. Rising Detroit star North Lake takes control of the B side with a remix of Ripperton’s ‘Neverending Story’. This track grows in momentum throughout the seven minutes. North Lake is building on the original track, adding more layers and complexity. With the introduction of melodic piano chords the track is an uplifting remix of a smooth and accomplished tune. Both remixes are subtle re-interpretations of Headless Ghost tracks, this subtlety is testimony to the quality of the originals. Remix I did 3 years ago of one of my favorite house tracks of the 00's! Kept the old school remix approach and all ingredients of the original in place and tried to toss in some some heavier club beats. Will finally be released in about a week or so on Ripperton's own Tamed Musiq. Enjoy!

NY Stomp aka GERD is the dutch equivalent of Laurent Garnier. He's the pioneer of house in Holland. His remix of Always from Mark Kinchen, one of my fav producers from Detroit, is simply stunning.
