It was a bittersweet victory. While the area had been eradicated of Talon, so many innocent lives had been lost. Anguished and angry, Reinhardt did his best to hold back his tears as they searched through the rubble.

He knew that they couldn’t always save anyone, and yet, it still left a rancid taste in his mouth. He doesn’t notice it, but a tear slides down his cheek and he sniffles, eyes closing for just a moment.

It’s when he feels a softness on his cheek does he open them again.

Ana’s kind face is right there, offering a sweet smile his way. He stares at her for a moment, unsure of what to say, before giving a watery smile. She had wiped at his face, and he wasn’t one to push away affections.

“Ah, danke, liebling..”

Balderich is the type of person who can’t fuck. He can only make sweet sweet love. I want him to make sweet sweet love to me. He is one of the only characters I feel that way for. Which is extremely surprising. Then again, I’m suuuuuper picky….. idk. He’s really hot.

I love Starke's answers so much x)   However, I think the anon asked if their super trained person would be "ok" with being that severely burned -- I didn't really understand they were burning them as a training.   Still as always, a very insightful answer.

We were both fighting off a cold while I was answering that one. In retrospect, I think you’re right. It makes slightly more sense than having a character setting themselves on fire in an attempt to improve their pain tolerance.
