Cole's talking about Dark Paradise (track #7). The song really reflects his feelings and anguishes as the story progresses.

So basically, Baby has a giant debilitating crush on Heartthrob. One idle stalking session inexplicably leads to Baby's heartfelt confession. But Heartthrob just goes Oh you like me? Lol. Wanna fuck? And then they start dating.

I say "dating" but all they really do is fuck. Both of them pleasantly surprised at the physical compatibility they share.

No surprise, but it turns out Heartthrob really isn't boyfriend material, and Baby just has all these deep-rooted insecurities about their relationship that won't go away. So it's just sex sex sex and then all of a sudden there's a gun. An actual gun. Hence, the title.

It's great.

It's super cute and just super ahhhhhh.

For me it was the Halloween party at the beginning. A furby? Ok, maybe those are everywhere... Powerpuff Girls? Adventure Time!? I read somewhere that Nyannya was actually mentioned as an "overseas author" in marketing materials but I can't remember where.

Yeah, the party! About being an overseas author I considered that, but I couldn’t find anything to support it. I was further discouraged when I saw that the original dj was in Japanese. Not that that confirms anything, but with that, the odds favored not. Though, it could be that they are Japanese, just not in Japan. Their Pixiv and Twitter are in Japanese. Again, not that that confirms anything. Regardless, though, I just want more of whatever they’re serving.
