Graphics card manufacturer Nvidia is currently issuing a warning to all owners of GeForce GPUs. According to an Nvidia security bulletin, several security vulnerabilities requiring urgent attention have been discovered in the company’s own display drivers and other software. A total of eight vulnerabilities are listed, all of them with a “High” severity rating. If you have an Nvidia GeForce GPU, you need to act now.

these vulnerabilities are such that hackers could take control of your computer and view all your personal data and files.

The vulnerabilities affect GeForce software, Nvidia RTX, Quadro, NVS, and Tesla, both under Windows and Linux.

nvidia has not announced whether or not these vulnerabilities have already been exploited in the wild, or if they have, how much they have been exploited in the wild.

rune note: while it is generally in a tech company's best interest to announce when major vulnerabilities have not already been exploited for malicious purposes, it can be impossible to prove that a vulnerability has not been exploited.

Yup, and just to add on; this will effect BIPOC just as much as others. This is the man who incited racism against Haitian immigrants by telling the world they eat cats, dogs and geese

This is the same man who condones mass deporting Latino immigrants whether they're legally here or not.

This is the man who supported a ✌🏾comedian✌🏾 that called the people of Puerto Rico garbage and said he cut watermelons on Halloween with his Black friend.

This is the man who is supported by the KKK and other racist White nationalist groups. So much so that he held a rally at Madison Square Garden for them in homage to the 1939 Nazi rally that took place there.

The same man who called a woman stupid and said we should her in front of firing squad because she disagrees with him.

This same man will implement many of the ideas in Project 2025, that will take away rights from LGTBQIA+, women, children, and even the "regular people". He wants to control the internet, he wants to control how you live and how your children learn. He wants to put in laws that will change the US from a democracy to a fascist state.

And for those single issue voters concerned with protesting for Palestine, he'll more than likely take that right away too. Frankly, I'm not sure why you would think things getting worse here will make your protests more valid. When we have a government who refuses to listen to anything we have to say, our cries fall on deaf ears.
