Introduce yourself Hello! I'm nyansae, a full time college student that likes Vocaloid, Miraculous Ladybug, Touhou, and Mystic Messenger! When did you start drawing? Are you a digital or traditional artist? Around pre-k like most people I suppose ( ´¬`) I'm a digital artist! Do you use any traditional mediums? If so, which are your favorites? I like using color pencils every now and then!

Why do you prefer traditional over digital? (or viceversa) For me it's much cheaper than traditional since I don't have to buy supplies as often! What do you think is the most challenging part about being a traditional/digital artist? Not being able to work on my art on the go bc i don't have the right equipment ╥﹏╥ What inspires your pieces? At this point I'm not sure myself :") it's random spur of the moment ideas for the most part lololol

Explain your "everyday" drawing process I look up lots of references so that when I draw it's believable as possible! (Or at least I hope it is!), and more often than not I take reference photos of myself for specific angles etc. Do you have an artist you admire (or more than one)?

James Gurney!! The way he paints is just beautiful. I even bought his book Color and Light to study from! Is there an artwork you are most proud of? Why? There's this one miku drawing that im most proud of, but I can't share it because the zone it's for hasn't released yet ; w ;

Do you listen to music (or tv shows/films/anything else) when drawing? I tend to listen to the War Time Farm documentary series!

What makes art interesting for you? There are no real limits on what you can do. I find that incredible! What do you do when art block strikes? I either bake or watch Master Chef Junior lol What’s the most valuable art advice you’ve ever received?

Create what makes YOU happy. Otherwise you won't enjoy what you're doing.

Hello, I'm nyansae! I'm currently a full time college student that's been into Touhou for, well, at this point I don't really remember how long now haha. I've never really been able to play the games myself, but I love watching the fan animations, reading works of fiction based on the series, admiring all the amazing artwork, and of course listening to the music on repeat!! I haven't really been in touch with the community, but from the people I've met because of our love for the loli bullet hell, I honestly wish I wasn't so awkward and would reach out more! Other fandoms that I am in are: Miraculous Ladybug, Mystic Messenger, and Vocaloid! However it's the same case throughout those as well... (╥ᆺ╥；)

When and how did you join the Touhou fandom, what was your first game?

Honestly, I think I first started getting more into Touhou when I was in my freshman year of high school? Before that I was really only listening to the music and not trying to look further into it;; (￣▽￣)ノ

What do you like about Touhou?

I LOVE the music!! What first got me into it was hearing Cirno's theme "Beloved Tomboyish Girl", and from there it has just taken off! I constantly visit a playlist that has 400+ songs in it since it's the most readily available for me.

Who's your favourite Touhou character?

Patchouli Knowledge, hands down is my favorite!!

What's your favourite Touhou game?

I'd have to go with EoSD, due to a certain bias including my favorite song "Locked Girl ~ The Girl's Secret Room" (^▽^  )ゞ

What's your favoutite Touhou stage/miniboss/boss theme?

EoSD Stage 4 - Locked Girl ~ The Girl's Secret Room !!!

What you'll be creating for this zine?

I'm not exactly sure what I want to do just yet, but for the zine I want to create character centric art and I hope that what I end up doing turns out great!!
