the admins have decided to get with the times and upgraded nycomhq to a hybrid rp! what does this mean, you ask? that players can rp on tumblr, discord, or both! we will continue to use this blog as a main which will still feature the usual acceptances, follow links, activity checks, masterlists, etc. we will also guide anyone who is unfamiliar with discord rping every step of the way. welcome to the new age of rp!

happy singles awareness day! or valentine’s day i guess if that’s your thing. admin april is a big fan of valentine’s day ( probably because it coincides with her birthday.... happy birthday lovely! ) but i obviously do not care very much for the holiday. but don’t let my distaste for it fool you; we will be having a valentine’s day event! it will be next weekend to give those who celebrate this day in rl a chance to do so today. we have a super fun event planned that is sure to bring a lot of fun and maybe even some drama, so stay tuned! and if you haven’t joined us yet, you have three chances to do so before the event, one of which happens to be tonight at 7pm cst / 8pm est. so if you’re not celebrating, make sure to get on that instead! ♥

welcome to february! in honor of the first day of this month, i was blessed with snow. which is great, i guess. if you don’t have to go out in it or shovel... or you live in florida.... anyway, i’m just popping in on this messy monday with a small update. we have decided that all future acceptances will now be done on tuesdays, fridays, and sundays at 7pm cst / 8pm est give or take ten minutes depending on how fast i can tyoe that day. now back to your regularly scheduled programming. for me, that’s the weather report. ♥
