This humble drawing of Christophe was at the beginning of one of my life’s chapters. My first year in NYC and attending the @newyorkacademyofart , more than a decade ago. Christophe Nayel has been one of the greatest models that I’ve had the pleasure of working from and with over the years. Models are an essential part of most artist’s lives and careers. Christophe is fighting cancer and has been having a rough time with it. But his energy and strength are so inspiring to witness through his unfiltered and honest documents of his encounters.
