Here’s to 29!! Having a birthday on NYE is weird because everyone is celebrating the end of the year but for me, it’s just beginning! I started my celebration by having a lovely coffee date with my forever birthday buddy and my dad. My son then treated me to lunch where I got an amazing salad. We went shopping for nail polishes because I have an obsession and then came back and took a nap. After our nap, we didn’t feel like a super heavy dinner like I had planned on making, so we are having a “snack tray” as my kiddos called it. Now I’m reflecting on the year, the last decade (today is the 10 year anniversary of my first date with my husband) and listening to giggles of my favorite people surrounding me. And if you ask me, that’s a damn good start to the next decade. Happy New Year everyone!
