Little behind-the-scenes on this one.
I was drawing art for my fic - Poison Ivy claws her way out of the ground after 2+ years dead, and she's in no position to be picky about clothes. I had plain gym shorts in mind.
But once I started drawing, I wanted the outfit to really clash - something loud and mismatched, like she grabbed it off a Goodwill rack (which, in the story, she basically did).
I'd been watching the Knicks all postseason, and they'd just put away the Hawks. Blue and orange. Perfect. Ridiculous in exactly the right way.
The fic wasn't ready yet, so I was anxious the Knicks would be eliminated by the time I'd post, and I'd get depressed and stop working on the story.
Guess I don't have to worry about that now!
