Omg, thank you so much! This has to be the nicest thing someone has said to me on Tumblr *hugs* I have to admit it took me some time to reply to this because I don't get any asks as such (but would love some!) and when I finally get one it's so sweet :) Please bear with me for a long-ish reply!!
Yeah, I am passionate about Sherlock (not just Johnlock) in a way that I truly appreciate the whole cast, crew, fandom, and everything related to the show. I wasn't as much into Sherlock Holmes before I watched the show tbh, I have not even read all ACD stories to date but the BBC's version stole my heart.
Do I write fanfics? I plan to. I only have one short ficlet posted on AO3 (here) named "If only life were that simple"- which, by the way, was written partly out of frustration *cough* due to S4 *cough*. My brain comes up with absolutely lovely/crazy plots and ideas in my REM sleep. I so desperately want to pen them down but then I start doubting myself a bit, wondering if I can do justice to my thoughts. But I want to since I'll never know unless I try, right? Your ask, dear Nymo (excuse me for trying to be creative with the short form for Anonymous :P), is actually great encouragement to me that you believe I am capable enough to write fics :) Only 2 days ago, I dreamt a beautiful Johnlock dream that was nothing short of a romantic movie and I have started noting down some plot points. Stay tuned :)
I LOVE reading fanfics though. I found some exceptionally talented writers and they inspire me a lot - @arwamachine @silentauroriamthereal @sussexbound @helloliriels @wendymarlowe @blueink3 @mistyzeo - there are SO many more writers I love and I'm sure I'm missing many- you can check out my fav fic list here.
I also recently started writing Johnlock poems/short verses if you would be interested (here)
My full-time job is what mostly keeps me busy through the weekdays ( Sherlock going in my head, boring :|) but I try my best to interact with my blog, write poems, come up with plot ideas during the weekend.
