the writers and producers said they wasnt even going to reveal who gossip girl was at all, it was pretty much a last minute decision, im so pissed off it was dan, theres gonna be so many plot holes when we look back, it was such weak writing and a obviously rushed finale

everyone remembers that they werent going to reveal who gossip girl is in the beginning, it's no secret this was rushed, honestly.

SO. MANY. PLOT HOLES. i'm not going to waste any sleep on it, but yes. it feels like betrayal, at least for the ones who enjoyed (?) this show until the very end. and dan fans, obviously. it's OOC but in the way they created season 6 it makes sense, but it's just that: they knew they were going to end this and they picked one of the character out of a bowl, i suppose
