Sai, 1 layer painting, ~12-15 hours total work. One of my favorite things yet <3
Finished up a personal project of mine, this has been a WIP in a while and I’m pleased to complete it. It’s messy and unrefined and I enjoy it, perfect example of a sketch paint style I’m trying to work on. Plus I haven’t done any major environment work yet, and I’m glad to have finally tested the waters. Also it’s my first attempt at doing water so that’s a thing! Overall pretty pleased with the results.

Was asked to do a new coworker’s welcome sign, and my supervisor FB stalked her to find she likes LotR, so I went with the theme and drew a wee lil Smaug <3
I lined him with my prismacolor inking pens and he’s colored with a half dead red crayola marker, red highlighter, red g2 pen and then a pink marker for in the wings. The glue on the top of the page, since there used to be paper on top of it, made the lettering fill a bit less than desirable, but I felt I made it work! This definitely makes me want to start sketching more dragons, I love them so much <3
Also here are two little ballpoint pen doodles I’ve scribbled during work meetings! I hate ballpoints for writing (I’m a g2 only type of gal) BUT they are great for scribbles, I’ll admit. Working on humans, slowly but surely!

Hands are being jerks lately, so art is on hold while they heal. However, I wanted to go ahead and compile my recent traditional stuff <3 I’m really happy that I can see improvement in my work. Slowly but surely, each and every day :3
