This is the last weekend that my releases will be done here. And with the lineup I have this week, it's only right that I would call this the Black Saturday Release. I've got nothing against Black Friday as a sales and marketing thing. It's just that the label we place on it is in and of itself seemingly foreboding, financially speaking. Just watch yourselves out there and allow these 3 tracks to serve as hot musical warnings. First up is "Illusions," the first track I did for the @cymaticsfm 7 day beatmaking challenge. This light yet spooky track allows you to feel the attraction of the lures while sounding off a loud alarm to help you avoid the snare. Next up is Samurai Tears, the 2nd Cymatics 7 day beatmaking challenge super slow track I made. This track has a deep lamentation feel to it, almost as if the track speaks of the fall of warriors, deep regrets, and taking heavy losses. You'll definitely dig the sad pseudo-japanese vibe i gave it. And lastly is "Temptations," a pseudo-Japanese smoke and mirrors type track which was the third track I did for the Cymatics 7 day beatmaking challenge. This hypnotic haze laced track gives you the feel of being seduced by a serpent that is a master of illusions and deception. Can you escape the trap? As a father, one of my best strengths was having the humility to let my son teach me, meaning I was always paying attention to him, and paying attention in all the ways needed helped a great deal when it came to gathering the kinds of provisions he needed. Why did I tell you that? It seems paying attention to my son has blessed me in another area: making lofi beats. That was his original suggestion for a niche in beatmaking. I've learned that it's best to not stick to one niche if you have the talent for more, but I've also learned that sometimes my son is correct when identifying a strength in his father. This track is a prime example of how being humble as a parent to listen to your child can sharpen you as a parent. Speaking of sharpening, one of the ways I sharpen myself is to be introspective. I'm always looking to improve myself with whatever I do. I've done 2 lofi tracks so far. This is my 3rd, and I call it "Introspection."
