It’s finally doneee—sorry for disappearing for a month haha here’s my love letter to this fic and the author 🙏 I remember being so happy whenever I would see the notification of a new chapter coming out and dying everytime these two would interact, honestly that was the best feeling.

I already read the entire work twice, but it’s so good I wish I could forget everything and re-experience it 🥺

There were so many good scenes to pick but I couldn’t possibly fit them all—- Big thanks to dp for creating such great content and being patient with me asking a million questions to make this piece happen 💕

——— Based on my Fiori del Male AU; Arthur is a designer student struggling to find inspo for his last exam.

One day while grocery shopping he meets a pair of very particular twins arguing over ice cream, without thinking he speaks up and helps them.

The very next days he meets both Amelia, an actress wannabe running to her next casting, and Alfred a fresh out of college student now working in a fast food chain restaurant.

The twins both start to flirt with Arthur making him go fully bi-panic, but little does he know about their secret game~

Amelia ‘Amy’ Jones is a waitress and performer at the SalOOn a western themed diner for adults.

Arthur Kirkland is a waiter and actor at the Bounty a pirate themed gaming bar.

A silly little AU about them working at rival resturants,,,

Arthur is forced by his boss to spy on their competitors but then ends up being charmed by the head waitress - at first they have friendly exchanges about acting and future dreams, but when you have a job in Amelia’s line of work having a relationship can be hard especially if you’re one jealous brit.

The Land of Spades have always been reigned by a Matriarchy. The title of Queen of Spades passed from mother to daughter for generations until Queen Elizabeth's premature death.

Princess Arthur is her only heir and at the age of 10 he’s forced to take the throne. The last wish of his mother was for him to be raised and taught like all Queens before him, despite of his gender.

At the dawn of his 25th birthday Queen Arthur still hasn’t find a proper Prince to marry. Kings purpose in Spades is to be strong enough to defend the kingdom and to give the Queen a heiress. By the rules of Spades a Tournament has to be held to find a new King, anyone strong enough to beat the castle Knights in swordfight can partecipate.

The Queen is torn by his responsabilities to find a Prince and not being able to fall in love and have a merry wedding like in the fairytales he used to read.

Amelia was chosen as Arthur’s chaperone when they were both kids, mainly because of her mother’s work with the royals as a blacksmith.

She’s the only friend the Queen was ever allowed to have and knows all about his worries for the future. Their relationship was always very close growing up, until Amelia stats to crush on Arthur and out of respect for his duty as a Queen decides to leave the castle to find a purpose elsewhere.

The day of the Tournament finally arrives, many men try to fight for the throne and many fails. Until a mysterious traveler challenges the Queen himself.

Not many knows but Arthur is an excellent swordfighter, probably the best in all Spades.

Intrigued by the person in armor he accepts and fights them, only to be defeated by his childhood friend Amelia now all grown up.

((This was pretty long from my usual stuff sorry;;; I craved buff Prince Amelia x twink Queen Arthur so I made my own. The oufits I drew are extra fancy because I was imagining the coronation scene,,,))

Amelia E. Jones was born and raised in one of Earth space colonies, working since she could talk in her family’s Star Ranch. Her eyes would always look up in the sky with big dreams to explore the Universe.

One day Capitain Kirkland, a space pirate that has the ability to shapeshift in different mythical creatures, decides to visit Jones’ Ranch to steal supplies.

While trying to protect the cattle Amelia meets Arthur face to face, she gets excited over the fact that he has a tail, she’d never seen an alien like him in her life.

While pirates are making a mess of her home she starts to ask questions to the Captain about his travels and space. Amused by her curiosity and lack of fear Arthur jokingly asks her to join him on his ship to see the end of the Universe, of course she accepts. ——— He tries to persuade her by reminding her about her life in the ranch and her family but to no use, her eyes already shining like stars with excitment (and her inhuman strenght) are impossible to say no to.

Just two space dorks travelling thru galaxies and falling in love.
