I think that as soon as Shanhnaz was born, they made plans to appoint her as the next monarch of Sindria.

I don’t think they cared much about boy or girl, and at that time they didn’t even think of the possibility of having more than one child.

As Kia was born, the problem appeared again, but I doubt that they would have made change to their original plan just because Shanhnaz was a girl and Kia a boy… I mean, I don’t think they are the kind of person who cares about ‘man’ or ‘woman’.

Maybe Ja’far cared a little, yes (because appearance and because of what other countries would have said of them) but Sin didn’t and his words are always the last ones.

… I think Shanhnaz would be the appointed one, but at the same time I think they would let her decide her own destiny and they wouldn’t protest too much if she told them that she doesn’t want to be queen.

… and well, of course through the years they would observe their children and—-

it’s a bit sad to say, but if someone does prove that they would be a better monarch for Sindria than Shan, they would probably reconsider their choice.

In the end, ability is the most important thing…

( also I think Shanhnaz would be mature enough to understand if one of her siblings is more talented than her, and even if it might broke her a little, she would leave the throne to them… )

"Aren't you the one who tells me to stop taking men to my bed?" Chuckling she wrapped both arms around Ja'far's waist, nuzzling her neck. "I miss sleeping together." Like back then.

"If only you were to give up on that for real, then I'd happily comply." Ja'far sighed, deciding not to complain when the older woman decided to hug her from behind.

Really, the best thing to do now was to humor her queen. If Ja'far were to kick her out, she would have started to complain and cry, and Ja'far was sure that she wouldn't get any sleep until she would accept the queen again in her bed.

Not to mention that after all Sinbad was right, and it was better for her to be there with Ja'far instead in some tavern with some unknown men.

Ja'far closed her eyes again, trying to ignore the presence behind her, but it was difficult when Sin's breasts were pressed against the smaller woman's back, and when she could feel the other woman's breath and nose on her neck.

Ja'far lets out a screech.

"Sin!" she shouts, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink "Can you not? This is highly improper!"

Not that someone in the palace would actually be surprised, because they're all used to their queen's behaviour. But it was still very improper for a queen to act like this, and grab at her subordinates' breasts like it was a normal thing!

"And of course I bind them. Otherwise, they would be such a pain..."

Now, if you would stop touching Ja'far's chest like you have to make sure her breasts are still there, she would be really grateful to you, Sin.

Who was the man in front of her? From his traits, she could easily tell that he was from Partevia. But why was a man from partevia there?

She did notice the many similarities with Sin, but again, many men from Partevia looked alike…

But this man had a very calming and soothing air with him, but his aspect also had something… nostalgic? She wasn’t able to understand what it was…
