long time no see! it's been a long year for me but the highlight of my year has been Blade Yuri! i can't believe the first time i drew my kenhaji girls was almost a year and a half ago and i fell down the rabbithole from there. i've been enjoying the dynamics between the threes so much (especially tachibana x hajime which i am very passionate about)

maybe ooc, but my thoughts below ->

i've been rambling here and there about various things but first and foremost, the relationship the girls are a bit complicated.

the character pronouns i keep the same as original show throughout cause it's how i prefer it ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ

obviously i do have to start off, i like nyota kenzaki x hajime a lot, they were my first blade couple after all. the 'scenario' that i think captures their characters the most is "kenzaki not wanting to hug hajime when he asks for it" - or in other words, he must be the one to initiate actions (what a difficult woman) i am a fan of hajime -> kenzaki (big feelings) and if 'theres no reason for hajime to hide his feelings towards kenzaki' - i think it's a simple scenario but i seriously have a LOT of thoughts about this interaction... secondly, i grew to love tachibana x kenzaki soso much! maybe it's the influx of kentachi arts on weibo that i keep seeing but i learned to appreciate their relationship more after my third rewatch (lol) tachibana loves his junior so much... i love the conflict between kenzaki getting closer to hajime while tachibana was 'left behind' in the conflict... in my portrayals i age tachibana up a little bit (25 -> 30) i can't talk about them seriously on here but kenzaki's a serious idiot when it comes to realizing his senior's feelings towards him. to summarize it is like this that kenzaki loved tachibana first, then fell for hajime, and then tachibana liked him back before it was already too late... their scenario is 'getting matching phone straps for my junior' and watching him use it everyday. their relationship is definitely the purest ! ! !

my cannonball for last, my fav ship this year is tachibana x hajime (or x tachibana either way) i read various stories about them (for context when i started getting into the ship they had one single fic on weibo that was in a picture format and one single art of 4 years ago lmao) and i just love how kenzaki is the anchor for their relationship. i don't mean this in a way that kenzaki always have to be there for them to be stable but i love how their closeness was brought together by kenzaki. i've always been a fan of estranged friends so bringing them together 'after kenzaki left' put a lot of thoughts in my head.

the song 'affection' by between friends fits them perfectly! seems a bit convoluted i've said they are my fav ship but i think of them as really close friends... they're the perfect portrayal of a complicated relationship between two adult women that's definitely been hanging around together for too long without getting closer.

anyways, their scenario is 'friends should always help out each other' (lol)

you might have seen me around in a different alias, but just to store it here, my novel for the story in the first picture is 'Wanted by My Senior and the Joker Undead?!' i'm so happy there are people who also love nyota blade ! ! (‾◡◝)

this spring i was completely obsessed with Dekaranger and recently i've started to watch Goseiger as well, so I couldn't help but want to make nyotaika designs for them~ though i haven't had time to complete any other full pieces lately @_@ ...

I decided to break from my simple colorings into rendering things a bit more because I have time to spend on my pieces (albeit I am drawing less things in total)

My love for BanHoji gals is unreal! Under the cut, I drew more of BanHoji and SenHoji girls ->

Here are my assumption ages as they don't have official ages -> Ban (21) Senchan (19) Hoji (26) I think it's a funny jump but Hoji being older than the rest of the Dekarangers just make sense to me... I think the same with Umeko as well. It's not related to the art, but Umeko (26), and Jasmine (20) and Tetsu (18) are the ideal ages of characters!

Also, I fell in love with SenHoji pretty early on my watch~ plus the fact that their relationship is stated officially as "Soulmates" got me pumped, so... I bought a bunch of SenHoji books from an artist I loved and they're really good! If anyone is interested in seeing these books please let me know! I want the world to see SenHoji!
