FDNY hosted the 18th Blessing of the Marine Fleet on Monday, July 1, at South Street-Seaport Pier 16, Manhattan. A maritime tradition meant to ensure safe travels included a procession of fireboats, NYPD Harbor and Coast Guard Speed boats along the East River led by Fireboat Three Forty Three of Marine Company 1, – FDNY’s largest fireboat.
