Divine appointment
I had a divine appointment today. I'm so sad and angry over what has been going on. I needed to be a blessing and God gave it to me. I went to the local car wash since my car was filthy. A Police car pulled into the car wash right ahead of me. I knew there would be no way for me to get to the cashier first to try to pay for his wash but I could at least talk to him. When I went inside he was right there and he smiled and said hello. I immediately offered him my hand to shake and told him I appreciated do him, I was praying for him and that my church had prayed for the police to be protected. He thanked me. I wish more people would do this. I still feel so upset. Remember Romans ch 12. God appoints authority. If we don't respect them, why do we deserve to have what we own. They are all that is left better us and anarchy. And the enemy wants that.
Bottom line: It's not necessary to say #PoliceLivesMatter or #NYPDLivesMatter. Ever. The State says and has said those lives matter and do not need to be reminded. Had Ismaaiyl Brinsley not offed himself, he'd have faced the full extent of the court system, very possibly life in prison or even the death penalty.
People reciting one of those two hashtags, or changing their icons to one of those two messages, don't understand why Black Lives Matter even exists or is necessary, and how it is in no way equivalent to their silly police apologism. (Or they might understand, but they're racist.) It's bad enough that cops are indiscriminately killing black people. It's even worse that they're getting away with it with no consequences whatsoever.
