I am so pleased to announce that I have been selected as a Finalist for a Fine Art series in the New York Photo Awards. The work selected was the Sites of Execution series. I am filled with gratitude, and eager to meet the other finalists at the opening in January in Brooklyn. Thank you New York Photo Awards! One of the images from the series is featured below, that particular image is of the site of the final execution in Alaska, which is now the State Office Department. Don't leave yourself wondering if you could have been crowned the best of the best. October 25 is the deadline for the final round of the 2013 edition of The New York Photo Awards. If you have series or single photographs that fit into the genres of fine art, documentary, photobooks, or GIFs, submit your work.
