I have shit insurance and have the migraine issue that's a more pressing matter this year that I've already spent thousands of dollars on lol.

oh god I've ranted enough today don't get me started on what I pay for our awful, awful health coverage and how much worse it would be if obamacare didn't happen and omg the republicans are just IDIOTS OKAY.

that IS lactose intolerance. unless it's on very high levels and untreated for long, it's really not that dangerous. it's just inconvenient, because you'll feel sick for a bit and your tummy will do nasty things to you and the people around you, but I would never classify it as "dangerous". There are food allergies out there, but those are allergies, not intolerances. intolerances give you a bit of discomfort, allergies (like peanut), those can be lief threatening.

yeah I've been tested a million years ago as a kid. back then it was classified as a 'milk allergy' which they aren't doing now, now it's all lactose intolerance I guess. /is old. I got like, hives and stuff from whole milk as a kid (just whole milk, not skim or the derivatives), which is why it was considered an actual allergy as opposed to just intolerance. I've probably grown out of the allergy part as that hasn't happened recently but I haven't been tested in probably 20-25 years.
