May 21st, 2018. A few days late but I couldn’t be happier to say that on this day I (officially) started my new job doing what I love with a company I’ve devoted my heart and soul to for the past two years, which alllll started organically over two years ago. I went (on a whim) to see my 9000th apartment and fell in love & signed a lease with an awesome human of a roommate who not only loves animals and yoga, but also had the same red/yellow yarn bracelet from the same part of India from the same time of this year (crazy, right?). I’m settling in to my job with incredibly passionate humans and happened to luck out with the most perfect current roommates (fellow rescue dog & Ellie lovers), been reunited with the love of my life @megholbrooks, and I get to wake up everyday genuinely excited about life and love and work and play. I might be medium exhausted and know very few humans here but let me tell ya, I think maybe just maybe the stars are aligning for me. And as I realized this I also realized that, as I watched the sun set with my miracle little Uganda rescue pup, Ellie - after possibly the most stressful past year of my life - that even 9 years after my dad passed away he still continues to send me the best energy and looks out for me. So thank you Papa Bear, for watching me grow throughout 2018 and for keeping an eye out for me & the girls. Cheers to you, to life, and to the unknown which we often fear, often dread, and are often pleasantly surprised by. ✌🏼🌻#rpcvlife #nytocali #california #travelblogger #sunset #positivity #positivevibes #thestraybaestakeamerica #thestraybaes
