NYU:TASK004 MOODBOARDS - HAILEY JENNINGS AND KIERAN PERRA

Hailey isn’t quite sure how she feels about Kieran. She knows that she would be blind not to consider him attractive, but on the other hand she finds his personality ugly. She finds the fact that he doesn’t care whether or not he knows girl’s names to be a problem to be cruel. But at the same time, she thinks that the fact that he doesn’t care if people call him names is heart-wrenching. She doesn’t think it’s fair he just lets it happen, roll of his back like it’s as routine as drinking coffee in the morning. She finds him intriguing in a sad way, and wants to get to know him better in hopes that he realizes what positive attention feels like.

NYUTASK:004 -MOODBOARDS: Blake and Maria Martinez

When your mom dies you feel a lot of things, sad, hurt, but mostly I just feel angry. My mom was my best friend, she was the one to help me come out to myself. She bought me my first power ranger when I didn’t want a barbie. I know being an only child made us close, but it was more then that. She loved me, a lot, and I get that but she left too and I still hate her for it. It isn’t her fault but I don’t know who else to be mad at...blaming it on some god seems like a cop out and between me and my dad, we’ve put out enough good karma to last a lifetime, so why did cancer get to take hers? The worst part is she didn’t tell me, when when I knew she was sick. I saw her loose weight, I saw her hair begin to thin out and she still never told me. I guess I can understand why, I mean who wants to tell their kid that they are going to kick the bucket soon. I still hate her though, almost as much as I hate myself for not knowing a way to cure her before she left me.

NYUTASK:004 -MOODBOARDS: Blake and Jamie Martinez

You and your dad get pretty close when your mom dies. After she passed it was just us against the world. My dad tried to be strong for me but in the end we had to be strong for each other. He stayed pretty stationary until I hit high school and he could leave me by myself, then he went back to his old job as a traveling nurse. It was good for him so I can’t blame him but honestly I missed seeing him around. We still talk often, I usually get a text from him at least once a day. It’s nice to know he hasn’t forgotten about me since he has a new girlfriend. I’m happy for him, just like he was happy for me when I finally came out to him. He taught me the important things like how to stand up for myself, and how to smile even when it feels like the only thing that will keep you together is cry. He is the most selfless person I know and I can only hope I will be that great some day.

NYUTASK 0 0 4  - Alexander James & Hayden Kennedy

She never even saw him coming. 

“1. You make me laugh. You always know exactly what to say when I’m tired or angry or sad. you’ll sit there and hold my hands and tell me stupid jokes and stories until I laugh so hard my sides hurt. You’ll tickle me until I’m shrieking and pick me up and spin me until I’m too dizzy to stand. You can make me laugh, and that’s almost as good as being able to make me do anything.

2. You respect me. You let me have my space when I’m angry and come back to it when we’re both ready. You’re patient when I have my period mood swings and bring me the things I want, knowing it’ll pass. You know that no means no, and pushing my temper means inevitable screaming. You put up with me through everything, and for that I owe you a lifetime.

3. You get me. You know what I like, what I hate, what makes me tick, what makes me glow, what makes me laugh, what makes me cry. You know what I need in certain situations, and get me the best presents. You know my preferences; dogs over cats, chocolate over vanilla, pizza over burgers. I could rant to you about something stupid for hours, and you still wouldn’t mind. You understand me like a best friend, and that is all I could ever ask for.

N Y U G R E E K TASK 004;

Salem Dyer and Corinna Rose;

Things started with him constantly begging her to hang out with him. After her agreeing, and him not expecting her to agree, he started to instantly fall for her. Though, it made things hard because he wasn’t ready to love again and he didn’t want to her Cori. He resulted to being distant and disappearing many times in order to get her to hate him. Despite his trails, nothing worked because he couldn’t resist coming back for her.

NYU:TASK004 - Anna Richards & Ayla Carter

When her mother forced her to go to summer camp to “interact with other children in her age group”, Anna was sure she was going to be miserable the entire time, until Ayla came along and changed that. She was the only person Anna got along with that was willing to deal with her being the “smart one” and the “bossy one”. Anna admired her for her boldness, and her extreme affinity for the common sense that Anna lacked. She is the only one who can push Anna out of her “genius zone” and into being a real human being with actual feelings.

Salem Dyer and Sasha Carnaro: The tragic love story.

Senior year of high school, everything changed for Salem and Sasha. Salem begged and begged Sasha to attend the last party of the year. He promised to look after her as she had as much fun as possible. Salem promised to stay completely sober in order to get her home safe. On the drive home from the party, a drunk driver collided with their car. Sasha passed away and Salem blamed himself for it all. That summer he got into various activities that he would have never thought would become a part of him. His parents wanted nothing to do with him. To this day, he blamed himself.
