"Alright I've got a plan. We throw up, then get rid of the body." - From iros
>. "Get rid of it? Don't get me wrong, I ain't worried about getting my hands dirty -- But how are you planning on even moving it out of here?"
As for throwing up, she had already almost managed that. It wasn't necessarily the killing part that was the worst, but to see a body begin to deteriorate, and not to mention the horrid smell that would invade the location any second. Especially when the body wasn't even in one piece anymore.
"Don't tell me you're s e r i o u s l y considering chopping it up in more pieces ---"
The mental image of such a horrendous act made her gag again as she clutched the doorway to the bathroom for support - head hanging low and away from the direction of the decomposing corpse just.. lying there.
This is actually the first fic in a while that I actually enjoy so if this flops I'm quitting it's a joke I won't quit I'll just be sad Based on this

They’d been close friends in high school, always being asked if they were dating. The answer was always no, as they’d both had major crushes on other classmates, but over time, the answer had become ‘yes’. Not because they’d finally come to love each other, but rather because they had both watched the people they loved choose someone else. It was an unspoken mutual agreement between the two- I’ll fill the hole in your heart if you fill the hole in mine.
“Will you marry me?”
Y/n covered her mouth, both in surprise and to try to hide a red petal that had slipped past her lips.
“Shoto, I…” Y/n was all too aware of all the eyes on them. It was perfect timing, sure, but it wasn’t something they’d ever talked about, so it was coming as a complete shock. “Yes. Yes, yeah, of course!”
Todoroki smiled, genuinely happy, though they both knew the proposal was a ruse.
Todoroki was greeted with a firm pat on the back as soon as he stood up, hoots, hollers and applause erupting all around them.
“Wow- Way to steal the spotlight!” Uraraka joked, grabbing Y/n’s hands and grinning. “Congratulations! I know you two’ll be super happy together. And we even share an anniversary now! My wedding and your engagement!”
“Yeah, thanks,” Y/n said, smiling at her friend. “And congratulations to you, too!”
“Todoroki!” Midoriya said excitedly, hand lingering on Todoroki’s shoulder. “You should’ve told me you were planning this, I totally would’ve helped!”
“I suppose so,” Todoroki said thoughtfully. “It was sort of on a whim, though. I’ve been carrying the ring with me for about a month now, but I could never find the right moment to ask.”
“Really? A whole month?” Y/n asked. Todoroki nodded.
“That’s so romantic!” Hagakure said, floating dress approaching the bride, groom, and two new fiancés with a small gaggle of other friends.
“Today was already exciting, now it’s double exciting!” Ashido gushed. “You two really are one of the cutest couples out there, I’ve been waiting for you two to get married since, like, forever! Can I be your maid of honor?”
“I should get to be the maid of honor, since he proposed at my wedding,” Uraraka argued. She grinned, looking at Y/n and simply taking in her content smile. “Right? I get to be your maid of honor?”
“You guys are thinking so far ahead,” Y/n said, laughing. “He only just proposed, it’s not like we have any actual plans! But if you two are going to fight over it, maybe I’ll just pick Denki instead!”
“Really?!” Kaminari asked excitedly, appearing in the crowd of friends. “I get to be your maid of honor?! Oh my god, thank you! I’m so lucky.”
“I guess everyone decided to make today a big deal, huh?” Kirishima said happily. “Momo and Jiro finally went public this morning, and then the Deku-Uravity wedding, and now Todoroki proposing- Man, now I kinda wish I’d planned something cool. Mina, Toru, Hanta, wanna go out to dinner together? All on me.”
“Yay!” Ashido said excitedly. “Today’s great!”
“Are you two going to celebrate when you get home?” Midoriya asked.
“Of course they are, ‘Zuku, don’t be dumb,” Uraraka said, pouting. Y/n laughed.
“Don’t be mean to your husband,” she joked. “But yeah, of course. Celebratory soba for Shoto, always.”
“Kacchan, you’ve barely said anything all day,” Midoriya said, noticing Bakugo lingering in the back of the small crowd. Bakugo just rolled his eyes.
“The hell do you want me to say, Nerd? I’ve heard the word ‘congratulations’ about a hundred thousand times today, I’m fuckin’ tired of it.”
“You’re not even gonna say anything to Todoroki?”
“…Good job or whatever.”
“Well, it’s better than nothing, I guess.”
“Anyway, most other people are gone,” Uraraka pointed out. “It’s getting pretty late, and I don’t want to keep you all from other things. Again, thank you for coming, everyone, and congratulations to you two!”
“Yeah, it’s getting dark,” Sero said, looking up at the open sky.
“And cold,” Kaminari added. “Kiri, am I invited to dinner, too?”
Todoroki slipped his hand into Y/n’s as they left the venue, his left hand warm in hers. He led her to his car, sure to open the passenger door for her before getting into the driver’s seat. Y/n spoke as soon as he closed his door.
“What was that about?”
“What do you mean?”
“You could’ve given me a warning or something, at least,” Y/n said. “I mean, we’ve never talked about getting married or anything-”
Y/n covered her mouth again as she coughed up another few red petals.
“Sorry,” Todoroki said simply. “I just thought it was the next logical step, seeing as everyone else’s lives and relationships are progressing.”
“I guess so,” Y/n said, sighing. She laughed to herself. “Doing it in the middle of Deku’s wedding was quite a bold choice, though.”
“I suppose so,” Todoroki said, smiling. “Also- If I’d told you in advance, you wouldn’t have been as shocked as you were. It was fun to surprise you.”
“You have a point,” Y/n said, shrugging. “I did promise you soba, though, so let’s go home.”
Todoroki put the key in the ignition and started driving, the sky growing darker with every passing winter moment.
“Seeing everyone else’s lives makes me feel so stagnant,” Todoroki said softly as he rolled into the driveway. He turned to Y/n, watching as she unbuckled her seatbelt, but made no effort to leave the car. “Do you think we made a mistake depending on each other the way we do?”
“I don’t know,” Y/n said quietly. She nodded. “But I know what you mean. Yaomomo and Jiro announced their relationship publicly, Izuku and Ochaco just got married, Nejire’s about to have a baby, Bakugo is inches away from opening his own agency… And we’re here, living a fantasy.”
“Let’s go inside,” Todoroki suggested. “We’ll be dealing with a lot of press tomorrow I assume.”
The two of them left the car, Y/n unlocking the front door to their shared home and holding the door for her fiancè. …Fiancè.
“Right. Well, I’m going to make dinner,” she said, smiling. “Celebratory soba, as promised.”
“Thank you-” Todoroki’s words were cut off by another coughing fit, a lump in his throat revealing itself to be a flower bud and three leaves. He wrinkled his nose at the taste, picking the flower from his mouth with a soft bleh. “…I’m going to scour the house for any more stray petals.”
“Thank you!” Y/n said gratefully. “I was going to do it later, I’m pretty sure I saw a whole flower in the bathroom sink.”
“Ah- That was me, I apologize,” Todoroki said awkwardly. “I nearly suffocated in the shower this morning and simply threw the flower away from me so I could finish up.”
“This morning?” Y/n repeated. “Must’ve been after Yaomomo and Kyoka came out, then.”
Todoroki simply hummed, slowly taking off his jacket before going flower-hunting.

Number One Hero’s Wedding Interrupted By Number Two’s Proposal!
“So, tell me, was the proposal a surprise? Todoroki, how long were you planning this?”
“Well, I’ve had the ring for quite a while, actually,” Todoroki answered. “I could never find the right moment, though.”
“And the ‘right moment’ was in the middle of your best friend’s wedding?” The interviewer asked. Todoroki looked at her silently.
“My best friend isn’t married,” he stated flatly. “She and I haven’t made wedding plans yet.”
The interviewer laughed.
“Well- I meant Deku and Uravity’s wedding,” she clarified. “As, platonically, I feel most people would think Deku is your best friend.”
“Oh. Well, it just felt right in the moment.”
“And L/n, was it a surprise for you?” The interviewer asked. Y/n nodded.
“Yeah,” she said honestly. “We’ve never even talked about it before, so it was really out of left field-”
Y/n’s hand flew to cover her mouth as she coughed, and Todoroki saw a red petal fly into her palm. Y/n closed her hand around it quickly before the interviewer- or the camera -could see. She put both hands in her lap calmly, apologizing quietly. Todoroki reached out and set a comforting hand on her thigh, a knowing look in his eyes as they both thought the same thing.
We’re fine. Just be careful.

It wasn’t the first time they’d kissed. They’d done all the couple-y stuff before, but it was hard to keep the flowers in, and they both knew it’d be impossible to excuse themselves and run away for a few minutes again and again during their own wedding.
They’d practiced the show-off-ish, over-dramatic wedding kiss, but almost every time, a flower from each of them had collided in their mouths. It had taken far too much practice to push them down, and keeping in the flowers was difficult for long periods of time. Petals and stems weren’t comfortable at all scratching at the backs of their throats.
“Congratulations!”
“Thank you, Midoriya.”
“When did you know Shoto was the one?”
“Oh, y’know, I guess it’s just ‘cause we were so close in school, ‘we’ just happened naturally.”
“So, when will the children be coming along?”
“I don’t think she’s planning on having kids anytime soon- Maybe even at all, our profession is quite dangerous.”
“No children? At all? …And what is your opinion on that?”
Todoroki paused for a moment.
“Unless she can talk me into it someday, I’d rather not have children. Being heroes, there’s just too many risks.”
=
“How the hell did they make an entire gossip article about you saying we’re probably not going to have kids?!” Y/n huffed, angrily throwing the magazine down onto the coffee table. “No matter what we say, journalists-”
She was cut off, yet again, by a flower-induced coughing fit, an entire flower followed by several leaves and a bud spilled from her mouth onto the floor.
“Are you okay?” Todoroki asked, turning his attention from the TV, playing some news report about Nejire’s newborn, to Y/n. He stood abruptly when he saw a second whole flower fall to the carpet- Not a single petal, not a leaf or a bud, but two entire carnations.
Y/n’s mouth filled with a metallic taste as she felt something suffocating spill down the back of her throat.
“I taste blood,” she said simply, wiping her mouth with her hand. She tried to hold in another cough, but a new sharp pain at the back of her mouth alerted her that holding it in any longer was a bad idea. “I’ll be back!”
She turned around in a hurry, rushing to the bathroom and falling to her knees, quickly lifting the lid of the toilet and heaving blood (along with a few drenched petals) into the bowl with a devastating splash. From down the hall, she heard a strained cough of Todoroki’s own. Not a moment later, he stumbled into the bathroom as well, leaning over the sink as blood spilled from his mouth.
“This is it, isn't it?” He managed to ask, voice scratchy. With every word he spoke, another petal built up in his throat. He simply opened his mouth, the coughing now meaningless, letting wet petals and blood plop into the sink. “This is the end.”
“We’re suffocating each other,” Y/n whispered. She spat into the toilet water, blood and spit continuously building in her mouth. “I’m sorry, Shoto. I’m sorry I could never be Momo.”
“It’s not your fault,” Todoroki reassured her. “There is simply no replacement for her. I was never Izuku for you, either. We did all we could for each other.”

Newlywed Heroes Found Dead.
Shoto Todoroki and new wife Y/n were both found dead in their shared home this weekend by Denki Kaminari, better known as Chargebolt. Kaminari says he was visiting as a surprise with a late wedding gift. Both heroes were found collapsed in a restroom, red carnations blooming from every bodily orifice. Doctors have described the condition as a fatal case of Hanahaki disease, also called the heartbreak disease or anti-lovesickness. It has since been discovered that neither hero was genuinely in love with the other, a major shock to all of Japan. Friends and family alike said their relationship seemed perfect, though the hero Gale Force, a personal friend of Todoroki’s, said their relationship was “too perfect to be real”. Based on photos found in various personal locations in their home, it seemed the two heroes were actually in love with fellow heroes Momo Yaoyorozu and Japan’s number one, Izuku Midoriya (Creati and Deku).
“I never knew. Todoroki was never easy to read, so it was always hard to tell how he was feeling.”
“Well- I mean, she never said anything, so I honestly had no clue she was into me.”
“If I had known, I never would’ve let this happen.”

Leave a “Mourn Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character mourning your character’s death.
She lost everything.
It was like a knife came stabbing through her chest. The aching pain of losing someone so dear to you, ripping you apart from the inside out. Why? After all this time, all these years, why now had it come to this...?
First she had lost her mother, unknown memories of her forgotten in the past. There was no memory of her, no opinion to give other than what she was told by her father. She knew her mother abandoned them, but why...?
Her father, the parent who raised the both of them, loved them like no other. A single father, raising twin girls on his own. A remarkable man who managed to share his love for both girls equally, even if it were apparent who he cherished more. She remembers that day vividly. The smoke, fire, the screams of the lives being taken by the person she hated...and loved. Her father, cradled in her arms as he took his last breath of life, leaving her all alone in the world with barely any guidance...
And now, now she was witnessing the last death of her family. It was all too familiar now. The smoke, the fire, the way she was cradling her sister in her arms as her blood stained her clothing, watching as the life in her eyes slowly disappeared. This wasn’t how it was supposed to end...no. This never crossed the Angel’s mind. She hated Kayle, yes. But she loved her all the same. She was the only family she had ever known, had ever cared for. They were inseparable, even if they had gone down different paths of life, they were always on each other’s mind, always. So why now did she have to watch it all come to an end? Was this her fate? Was she destined to walk this earth alone...for all eternity?
Loud sobs escaped her, holding her sister close, uncaring of the blood that stained her. She couldn’t fathom what was happening to her, like the world was crashing down around her. No...she didn’t think she would be here, holding her sister as she died in her arms as well. She was broken before, but now? Now she was shattered. Nothing, or no one, could ever fix her. There was nothing left for her in this world, no one to love, no one to have.
If destiny planned for her to be alone forever, then so be it.
You have no obligation to read this, but if you do...thank you.
My grandmas funeral/service was yesterday and my body finally let go the tears and sobs I’ve been holding in. I also got to see my cousins who I grew up with who also gave me pictures of when i was young and pictures of my mom, who died two years ago on the 19th.
I was so grateful for those pictures and more that are being dug up. I have nearly nothing from my childhood. I tried to save as much as I could but circumstances left me with little. So getting photos of when I was little and when my mom was younger [before her addiction started to eat at her] is a great blessing. Though the situation on how I got them wasn’t the best, I know my mom and grandmother are together again.
There are still things to get done, such as my grandmothers belongings in a storage shed. Im hoping and praying its all still there despite not being paid for, for 4 months. Of course no one told me that until yesterday. I would’ve paid some of it to keep it but it is what it is I guess.
I was also blessed with taking my grandmas ashes home. All my other cousins were extremely uncomfortable with the idea. So I took her.
Why am I sharing all this? well, i needed somewhere to vent though i don’t feel like i can talk to anyone. I also want others to know that I’m a safe place that lends an ear. With everything I’ve been through in my life since age 8, I have no room to judge or turn up my nose. I know how alone someone can feel even in a city of 100,000. When I was younger, I thought I would die before the age 21. I also didn’t think I could handle my mothers death if it happened horribly, but it did and while I wanted to break down most days...I forced myself forward. My fiance and kids helping on the days I was weak.
I want to reach out a hand and say that I am here, I will listen and do my very best to show you how beautiful and wonderful and HOW PRECIOUS YOU ARE. Losing a loved one, it tears you up inside and leaves a scar like nothing else. I wish I would’ve done more for my grandma and my mother. They died without hearing me tell them I love them. If I could change that, I would.
As someone who has tried killing themselves and had others who I cared for both try and succeed, I can tell you that no matter what you think about yourself, someone would likely rip out their own heart in order not to lose you. Look around you and realize everything you are so very blessed with. Especially life itself. I know that sounds cliche but I don’t give a shit. if you think for a second that no one cares, know this. I do. Whether I know you or not, I care so goddamn much it hurts. Getting older is hard, especially when the building blocks of your life start to pass on. Its a scary thing to realize that one day, you’ll be someones block. But the thought of ending it before you ever get that chance is not worth it.
When I was depressed and suicidal, I didn’t think anyone cared. Especially my mother. Despite her flaws however, I know now that deep down it would’ve absolutely destroyed her had I succeeded. Now, as a mother myself, if any of my kids ever came to the conclusion that I didn’t care and thought about/tried to kill themselves I would implode. The same thing for my younger brothers and sister. And my cousins and my friends. I CARE. SO FUCKING MUCH. It’s a blessing and a curse. If you need someone to care, I do. If you need somewhere to rant/vent I assure you I will listen. I also assure you I will give my advice. Though whether you take it or not is not my choice.
Remember to tell those whom you love, how much you love them. Do it often, it might help in ways you never thought about. Even smiling at a stranger can change their day. If you can’t see the bright side of anything, I’ll bring a lamp and help.
Just understand and know this. I CARE. I CARE. I CARE.
