10. Holly

Hey Holly, why are you still here and how did you survive yet another elimination?

1. Danielle

Danielle has the only shot I truly love this week, and she was leagues above the rest! It works fantastically for the anti-smoking brief, but I could also see this as an ad/catalogue shot for something like Target or H&M. Her face is so androgynous here, and the attitude in her expression is believable. Danielle continues her domination!

This photoshoot was so bland. The edited anti-smoking posters shown at panel were slightly interesting, but these raw shots are boring as heck and nearly everyone (besides Danielle) was mediocre. Because of that I’ll be keeping most of my comments brief.

2. Elza

Elza did a good job of selling the emotion with her face. Her disapproving stare is great and I love how her hair frames her face. However, her pose is a bit one dimensional and I think she should’ve twisted more towards the camera. Elza had one of the best shots but it’s nothing special.

3. Michaela

I don’t think this is the best shot of Michaela’s face, but at least she succeeded with bringing a proper expression for the assignment. The pose is completely adequate as well, she sold the outfit and comes across really confident. I don’t think Michaela fully deserved her FCO at panel based on this picture though.

4. Nellie

Nellie has one of my favorite poses of the week, her crossed legs and outstretched arms make for a good silhouette. However, she didn’t give enough feeling with her face which keeps this from being fully successful. Nellie being in the bottom 2 was really fucking stupid, her shot isn’t notably bad at all.

5. Lauren

Lauren looks like she about to recite a spoken word piece about why cigarettes are bad. I don’t think the angle is the most flattering for her face, but otherwise there’s nothing tragic about her photo.

6. Eva

Eva’s face is lovely in this picture but that’s really all I can praise. It looks like she’s about to lecture some children she caught smoking, but judging by how self-conscious her body language is she would probably go cry in the bathroom afterwards.

7. Lara

Lara was 16 years old on the show but she looks about double her age in this photo. Besides that glaring problem and the fact that she looks as exciting as a bowl of uncooked rice this is satisfactory. Her pose is fine and she looks really tall.
