Well as the title says, "Ups and Downs" but definitely more ups than downs. The downs are the same as many this time if year, the Tax Man. He's not as scarey as he's made out to be, but my God is he a pain in the arse! And right before Christmas as well. But look that's my own bad planning ha.
Right now to the "ups". On Wednesday I managed to fill out my online application for my US VISA. Jasis they don't make that easy... it turns out that when they say "given name" it means first name, I didn't know this so I spent a good ten minutes trying to write my name on the first page of the form :/
It got awkward again when it asked for my parents birthdays...I then realised that even if I fail to get the visa the experience has taught me that I really should pay more attention to some of the important stuff in my life! But it didn't end there! It then wanted to know the planned destinations of my trip. I had to type out 70+ dates, states, towns and venues only to be reminded afterwards that "you can just copy and paste". Anyways it's done now so i just need to make my appointment with the embassy and hope that it all goes well.
Thursday was the highlight of my week when once again I got to meet the WWE Hall of Famer and living legend, Mick Foley. Foley did a stand up show telling stories of his own experiences as a wrestler and the man was absolutely hilarious. I then got to meet and greet with him which just topped it all off. They say never meet your hero's they will only disappoint you. This man certainly did not disappoint.
On Friday Facebook sent me a performance rating for my Page and it's good to see that my posts and pictures are creating a small buzz online. If you haven't already you can follow me on:
