Hello, This is my introduction post.

I am Rem and this is my goddess of innocence. 

I had such a hard hard time deciding what power to give her since there are many things attached to Astraea as a goddess. She is closely aligned with Justice, thanks to the constellation of Virgo overlapping with Libra, the scales of justice. This was also seen as the reason why Astraea carried Zeus’ lightning bolts for him. 

I chose the power of empathy because a constant mythos for Astraea is that she was the last god to leave humanity behind. She left them because she was disgusted at how, even though they could live peacefully, they would always destroy themselves. I used that tidbit to decide on her power. She left because she could feel all their strife and after possibly millennia of taking those emotions on, she left them behind because that is how gods love: with all their heart, or with no heart at all. 

I hope you all enjoy Mihyun/Astraea. I’m heading to bed now! I can’t wait to meet you all tomorrow--well later this morning now HA!
