This was back in my photo class. We were learning about shutter speed and depth of field. This was actually an assignment I redid. The first time I worked with shutter speed it did not turn out well. I’m glad I tried again. It is still a technique I want to practice more of and improve. So until next time.

This is one of my favorite photoshoots I have done. I won’t even call it a photoshoot. It was a spare of the moment. I was living with a friend at the time and her boyfriend at the time was using a hookah. I just really liked how the smoke floated in the air, when he blew it. At those moments I was like omg! let me get my camera! I started shooting and I loved what I came up with. It wasn’t planned or talked about. I just acted and came up with beautiful results. It was hard to choose but these are the ones I picked.

Vibrant Tiger Lily

I took this picture during my film shoot this summer. We took a break and it was a really beautiful day outside. I passed by a bush filled with tiger lilies. I just loved how the sun made the orange petals standout. It was beautiful and I had to take pictures. But this photo is my favorite one because I like how the petals fold in. It looks like the flower is enveloping itsself.
